Asbaty and Williams "Master" the field.

The 2007 World Ranking Masters concluded with Diandra Asbaty and Stuart Williams taking home top honors in the televised finals.

Asbaty, the diminutive spokeswoman for the USBC, outdueled the powerful Zara Glover (England) for the coveted title in two straight games for her victory, 233-148; and 235-220.  Asbaty is now the only person (male or female) to win this prestigious event twice.

Williams (also from England as is Glover), defeated Peter Ljung (Sweden) in a best two-out-of-three battle.  Ljung won the first game 236-233 in a see-saw battle, but Williams came back to capture the last two games 235-224 and 269-240.

Each of the victors earned $10,000.00 (US) and beautiful trophies.
